Is it Spring yet?

The other day, I cut open a spaghetti squash, readying it for cooking.  What I  found seemed to be saying:

"Is it Spring yet? " 

The seeds were sprouting, inside the squash!  I'd never seen this before.  Look closely:

Even from inside a squash, it's known that Spring is coming . . . 

Back to Crazy Quilting

The next lesson in my crazy quilting class had to do with templates.  We printed the templates and punched holes in them with a needle so we could use the hole to pencil mark where our stitches were to go.

Some I marked and some I did freehand.  Not all seams are finished yet:
