Watercolor, my nighttime therapy . . .

June has been a rough month.  Consequently, my creativity has been waning.  So yesterday, I tried something new--at least new to my routine.  I went back to my art--watercolor!  Was inspired by our recent trip to the beach and attempted a painting.  I left it to dry over night . . . .

Then . . . I couldn't sleep at 4 am this morning, so I finished it.

Now I need to get it framed . . . . and I feel better!!!!

Graduation Time!

Spent the end of May with a little trip to California to see our grandson's graduation.  It was an intimate affair, since there were only eight graduates but it had all the attractions of a larger ceremony! There were slide shows of the life of each grad, and diplomas were given out by the parents of each grad, since it was a home school association graduation!  The best part was the selfie that they took at the end. :)

And . . . when in California . . . one cannot miss our favorite lunch spot:  "the crazy chicken!"  When My kids were growing up, we used to eat there frequently, since it was just around the corner!  My teen-aged boys loved it!

One of our friends liked this photo and wanted us to post a picture of his favorite place, In n' Out Burger! So, since we have neither of these in Oregon, we ate there and posted a picture for him on Facebook!

Since I have been back, I have been very busy with my business.  I acquired a new wholesale account, which I am elated about!  They like this apron--the newest addition to my wholesale line:

I call it my "Frilly" apron, since I have three rows of "frill" on the bottom!

And a cute brooch on the top!

What have you been up to?

P.S.   My mom used to ask and then follow it up with an answer to the question saying: "No good?"  We would always laugh!
